Alaskan Weathervane Scallops
Very white, solid, sweet and buttery Alaska Weathervane Scallops -harvested and processed on board Jim Stone’s catcher/processor. They are frozen immediately (in 20 oz bags, 35-50 scallops per bag, size grade 30/40), locking in their naturally fresh and sweet flavor. This fishery is the model for sustainable scallop harvesting. The fishing grounds are closely monitored and regulated, and are moved annually to protect the habitat. MSC has certified it as a green fishery.
